Chapter One :Chapter 1

"Grandpa, don't let me go, please!"

An eighteen-year-old boy was crying in a plea to a white-haired old man. The boy's eyes were wrapped in gauze.

Tears welled up in the old man's eyes. He had no choice but to let his beloved grandson leave.

A middle-aged man stood beside the old man, gazing emotionlessly at the young boy. He was indeed a cold-blooded person.

On the other side of the old man stood a young man elder than the boy. He was smiling sinisterly.

"Come on, drag him out! From now on, he will not be allowed to enter the house again!" The old man said majestically, but tears flashed in the corners of his eyes.

"Grandpa, I beg you, please don't drive me away!" The boy was still shouting and begging but was forcibly pulled away by two big men in black...

The boy whose eyes were wrapped with gauze bandages was Jonathan Collins. "Ah!" He suddenly sat up straight from bed, for the nightmare several days in a row.

He struggled his eyelids open, but could feel only darkness and a touch of pain.

Jonathan lay on the bed again, but couldn't sleep. He was handsome, had striking facial features, but his eyes were tightly wrapped in gauze.

"Poor child, you are having another nightmare." An old man with gray hair, who looked as if he had been through the vicissitudes of life, entered the room and radiated an august feeling.

Jonathan was actually the young master of the most fantastic family of Yrinard. But he lost his sight in a fire that caused significant damage to his family, and then he was cast out.

"Boy, do not blame your grandfather. He's in trouble, too. From now on, you are my grandson, and I will take good care of you!" Crystal tears flowed from the old man's eyes.

A blind young gentleman, no matter how clever he was, was utterly useless. Everything that was supposed to be his was gone because of his blindness.

The old man in front of Jonathan was Colton Owen, and he was the old friend of Jonathan's grandfather, Camden Collins. After Jonathan was expelled from the family, Camden entrusted him to Colton.

"I'm good-for-nothing. Go away now, Grandfather Colton. Don't let a good-for-nothing like me burden you!" roared Jonathan piteously.

After that, Jonathan kept repeating, "I am a disabled man. I am a disabled man!"

Colton sighed deeply, touched Jonathan's forehead, covered him with a quilt, and went out of the room.

Colton knew that no matter how he comforted Jonathan, he could not ease Jonathan's pain. His blindness was already a fact.

Jonathan's brain was blank, and his heart seemed to be empty. Before that accident, he was usually high-spirited, doomed to be the heir of the Collins family, a well-off business tycoon, but his blindness tragically ruined all.

"I am a useless man and will never return to the previous me. I will never see the sun again. From now on, I have to linger on my breath!"

Jonathan thought and clenched his fist, but blue veins bulged out because he used too much force.

"Hey, Colton, how is Jonathan?" Colton held the phone in his hand, and Camden's voice came from the phone.

Colton sighed deeply first, "Don't worry Camden, Jonathan is very good along with me, but his mentality is not very good. After all, blindness has hit him too much!"

Camden couldn't stop crying. The accidental fire that Jonathan experienced caused severe damage to the Collins family. All the family members agreed to expel him, so Camden had no choice but to let him go.

After Jonathan was expelled, Camden immediately found his old friend Colton, then brought his grandson to Puodbert City overnight, and entrusted him to Colton.

"Camden, do you think the fire was an accident?" Colton's eyes flashed with a serious aura, and his killing intent suddenly increased greatly.

Camden was silent for a while before he continued.

"Colton, do you think this is not so easy?" Although Camden did not want to believe it, he had already spotted something suspicious.

"This matter is definitely not that simple. I must say that the internal affairs of your two families are indeed too messy. For the sake of profit, your most beloved grandson has become a victim. Haven't you learned a lesson? Take revenge!"

"I know, take good care of my grandson!" It seemed as if Colton had struck Camden's sore spot. Camden said directly to Colton, and then hung up the phone.

Jonathan lay on the bed, but his brain was still blank. Suddenly he felt a searing pain in his gauze-wrapped eyes. The pain made Jonathan cry out, "Ah! Ah!" Both hands grabbed his head and he felt wet. It was blood flowing from his eyes.

Colton, who was sitting in the living room, heard Jonathan's yelling. He thought that Jonathan had done something drastic, and quickly opened the door of his room.

"Jonathan, what is the matter?" Colton saw that Jonathan cried with his hands covering his bleeding eyes, his face contorted in pain.

"Grandpa, my eyes hurt, it hurts so much, ah!" Jonathan's voice became trembling, and everyone could understand how painful he was.

"Boy, bear for a while. I'll get you a doctor right away!" Colton was already seventy years old, but he was flexible and quickly ran out of Jonathan's room.

He yelled to the outside of the villa, "Doctor, hurry, Jonathan's eyes hurt!"

In other buildings outside the villa, the doctor heard Colton's roar and ran towards the villa where Jonathan was.

"Sir, what's the matter?" The doctor was also very fast. He ran into the villa quickly and asked Colton with an anxious look.

Colton and Camden were battlefield brothers. So he treated Jonathan as his own grandson, and they even made a marriage contract for their grandchildren.

"Quick, Jonathan said his eyes hurt. There's a lot of blood coming out of his eyes, look over him!" Colton roared at the doctor.

The doctor took Colton's order and hurried to Jonathan's room, while Jonathan no longer howled, but fainted with pain. Black blood still bled from his eyes, staining the gauze dark black.
